This look was shot a couple of weeks ago when we had a randomly chilly week in Toronto. I didn't let the poor weather conditions get me out of Spring mode (or is it Summer now?). I'm wearing one of my absolute favorite skirts from last year with a modern twist. Turtlenecks and crew necks were huge during the Winter and I incorporated the trend into a Spring worthy outfit by pairing a fitted black turtleneck with a flowing silk skirt. The accordion pleats give the skirt lots of movement and add visual interest. I topped off the look with my blush coat and black mules. This coat is my actual obsession; I've been pulling it out for every occasion from brunch to just running errands. It dresses up a simple outfit and adds a touch of elegance while having an "off-duty" feel because of the unfinished edges.
On a side note, I came across this perfectly instagrammable white wall while walking around Toronto and could not miss an opportunity to shoot with it! If you want to know where to find this spot, be sure to leave a comment. And if you know of any other great locations I should check out please let me know, or you'll be seeing this background for the next while.
