2016 has been off to a quick start. I already feel like the days are racing by. But I am glad to say that the weather in Toronto continues to be fairly mild (at least compared to last year!) and that means I can wear cute coats instead of bulky parkas. I picked up this grey coat from the end-of-season sale at Zara about a week ago. I've been on the hunt for a slim fitting grey coat since the fall and I'm so happy I finally came across this one.
Rather than take the monochromatic route which, believe me, I love, I chose to add in some jewel tones. Enter rich colored pants and boots. I think mixing up the grey with brighter colors really makes the outfit pop in an unexpected way. And, it shows how versatile grey is!
Even mild winters in Toronto are pretty chilly, so I threw on a thick white sweater under my coat. I love that this one has the slits on the sides because it gives more options for layering. Also, how great do white and green look together? I rarely pair white with rich, dark tones but I really enjoy this combination.
Here's another shot of the full outfit. Let me know what you think in the comments below!
All the best,
