I am really loving black for this fall season! Today's outfit features this over-sized graphic t-shirt that has foods written all over. Of course, this shirt appeals to both my fashion loving and food loving sides. The words printed on this shirt read: "chocolate, french fries, hot dogs, ice cream, pizza, milk shakes, hamburger." I wanted to keep this look casual and relaxed because the last few outfits I've featured on here have been on the dressier side.

I went for a monochrome palette because the shirt and beanie make quite the statement on their own. I put on my favorite black jeans that I DIY-ed by adding the distressed detailing on the knees (you may remember these from this post). If you want to DIY your own pair simply put on your pants, mark one of your knees with chalk or a safety pin, and match it up to the other leg. Then, simply cut into the marked area and pull on the threads to make it look worn in. Distressed denim has been a big trend this year and that is likely to continue into 2015.
Who doesn't love a well-draped blazer right? I added this boyfriend blazer to keep me cozy since fall has begun and to add a touch of polish. I like this blazer because it is over-sized and the back is made out of a knitted/ribbed material that allows the piece to sit on the edge between casual and business.
I chose to put on this simple pair of black suede booties. These do not have a heel so they are completely casual and comfortable! I also like these shoes because the single monk strap makes them stand out among a sea of black booties
I'm not wearing any jewelry in this look except for this little necklace that I got customized at the St. Lawrence Market a little over a week ago. I love that the jewel is so delicate and the thin chain almost disappears against my skin.
I added this beanie with ear flaps because I wanted the look to be playful and cheeky. I think that it really makes the look unique. You can also opt for a wide brimmed hat if animal ears are not your thing.
