Boyfriend jeans and all sorts of loose silhouettes are a big trend for Autumn 2014. There are many different ways to style a pair of distressed boyfriend fit jeans and today I am sharing a look that combines masculine and feminine pieces for an effortlessly cool (think model off-duty) outfit.
I like to highlight my waist when I am wearing loose fitting bottoms because it instantly adds some polish to the look and keeps one from drowning underneath the fabric. Here, I added a skinny black belt with silver hardware.
Another tip for wearing boyfriend jeans is to wear a well fitting top to balance out the bagginess. I chose to pair my jeans with this leather sleeved baseball tee. I love this top because it is slightly cropped and the fabric is super soft and comfortable. I gave my shirt a little half-tuck to, once again, highlight my waist and also to show off a bit of the belt.
Since it can get quite chilly during the evenings as the seasons change, I added this grey fabric moto-jacket to keep warm. I am absolutely obsessed with this jacket; it is so unique! I like that the sleeves are in a different fabric. This jacket is quite versatile because grey works with nearly any other color and because this jacket can be dressed up or down.
For accessories I've kept it pretty simple with a few silver jewels. I added a couple of edgy bracelets, thin rings, and a feather and spike necklace. I wanted to stick to a neutral/cool color palette for this look so I added a pair of pointy charcoal pumps. I think the dainty rings and high heels really take this look from completely masculine to more androgynous.
