This yummy and healthy drink is perfect for hot summer days. And, it is so easy to make.
Here's how I did it. Take about a quarter of a small watermelon and cut it up into cubes. Add that to your blender. Follow with a handful of ice cubes. Now, add about 400 mL of sparkling water. Lastly, I like to add a few herbs such as basil (shown here) or mint. So toss in about 3 to 4 leaves and blend away.
I don't generally add sugar, but if your watermelon isn't the sweetest, I would toss in a tablespoon of raw sugar or honey.
And lastly, you can also modify this drink by using Sprite or Ginger Ale instead of sparkling water.
